Forex Trading
Forex is an acronym of Foreign Exchange. Forex trading is a trade of currencies from different countries against each other. For e.g. the circulated currency is Euro (EUR) and in US Dollar (USD) in that of United States. An e.g. of a forex trade is simultaneous purchase of Euro and selling of US Dollar.

Typically, forex trading is done through a Forex Broker or Market Maker. A forex trader can choose a currency pair which is expected to be changed in value. It is better explained with a following example:
“If you had bought 800 Euros in January 2009 costing you $1000 USD. Throughout the year, the Euro’s Value vs. the U.S. Dollar’s value increased. At the end of the year 800 Euros was worth $1100 USD. Had you chosen to finish your trade at that point, you would have a gain of $100 USD.”
Forex trading gained much popularity after the arrival of internet Era. There are online Forex Brokers which lets you place order with just a few clicks of your mouse. The brokers then passes the order along to partner in the Interbank Market to fill your position. When you close your trade, the broker closes the position on the Interbank Market and credits your account with the loss or gain. This can all happen literally within a few seconds.

Facebook’s current user base is 400 Million and Mobile users have increased to a whopping 100 Millions which makes it 25% of the total.

The Moto Q9h is equipped with HSDPA/UMTS which delivers high speed internet of up to 3.6Mbps. Moreover, the it also features 256 MB on-board flash memory, Bluetooth connectivity, 2.0 mega pixels camera with 8x digital zoom and video play back at 30 frames per second (fps).
The Moto Q8 has 1.3 MP camera, 40MB internal memory expandable with miniSD card. Some of the other features are optional WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE etc.

Drytac has added the first edge finishing machine specifically designed to work with a heat-sensitive foam display boards to its product line.
The DES-4Foam utilizes precise pressure and cutting mechanisms, along with Drytac's proprietary Edge Secure™ adhesive, to apply PVC and ABS edging on boards like Gatorfoam®, Sintra® /Forex, Kappaboard, X-Board and Ecoboard®.
Compatible with boards ranging in thicknesses from 3/16" (5mm) to 1 ¾" (45mm), the system decreases the need to inventory multiple boards with different foam core types or face material colors and allows the increased use of environmentally friendly recycled boards.
Edging can be applied to blank boards as well boards direct-printed on flatbed printers and boards with images already mounted and laminated. According to Drytac, the edge finishing tape will be available in a variety of colors, including red, blue, black and chrome.
Drytac plans to demonstrate the DES-4 at both the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) tradeshow to be held March 3-5 in Las Vegas, NV and at the International Sign Association (ISA) show to be held April 15-18 also in Las Vegas, NV.

Last days have seen an increase in the number of new ridiculous USB sticks. We already reported the skate drive and the Post-It USB stick but things have gotten only worse since then.
Newest additions are the handmade Tokyo Cat (pictured at the right) and the USB Green Man. Obviously there is the Hello Kitty USB stick but that one is surprisingly discrete compared to the latest rage. It should be no surprise that there is a Obama USB drive too.
Maybe it’s just me and I have become an old and boring sod, but I usually am looking for the most discrete _bling_ and not etsy crafted gadgets on the $tarbuck$ table when I want to show off my luxurious lifestyle as always connected caffeine addicted worker.
On second thought I actually might love to start a collection of the most ridiculous USB drives!
iDuck USB Drive
When you see this picture first you immediately know its name has to be iDuck. Something just tells you that’s the only appropriate name for this drive. Popularity of the iDuck has been rather minimal, probably inexistent considered it costs a whopping $49.99 for 256MB space only. But you get integrated light in the duck for that price. Now think about going to the cafe with your shiny MacBook Air and digging your iDuck out of your pocket.
USB Shrimp from Solid Alliance
1GB and 4 different food varieties USB drive models: shrimp, crrab, caramel and even burger. Actually, the tomato is a USB hub.
Everything’s handcrafted. Bonus points for creativity but I can’t imagine putting this on my table when slurping an espresso doppio.
Kyoto CatBar USB Drive
One quick look at this picture can make you think of all the fantasies you could live out during bored and desperate nerd hours if only you buy more than one of these! But the fun comes with a price: $81.75 for just 2GB. If only they had integrated the connector somewhere under the neck and made a keyhanger out of this.
Wooden USB Oooms
Why, why, oh why?
I can see the appeal to ecologists who make biofuel from their leftover beer. Handmade too, so I suppose this drive actually is made from wood and I think the price’s handcrafted as well at $119.99 for 2GB.
Sushi & Dimsum USB Drives
Compared to the previous USB drives this almost looks acceptable. Almost I wrote!
I bet you’re in to catch quite some eyeballs and even more weird looks, probably even medical advice, when you plug these in to a black, nowadays almost a collector’s item, MacBook.
Barbie USB
This obviously is a handmade USB drive by someone who wanted to make it to 4Chan and I can’t imagine this ever going in to production, although Mattel has done the weirdest things lately. Actually… I could see a future for this. Anyone want to sell this to Mattel? Don’t bother about abusing their own trademark, tell them about the Hello Kitty rage and the need for a pink Barbie netbook.
Humping Dog USB Drive
If it comes from ThinkGeek it has be awwesome, doesn’t it? Wrong, wrong, WRONG! This humping dog USB drive, also available as crunching dog model, is just totally wrong. A fitness dog sticking out of your laptop? Perfect to keep your NADD up to par, but that’s about it.
Luckily, when it comes to weird USB drives, there is something for all the geeks among us. More than something.
Lupin The Third USB Drive
Eventhough GeekStuff4U responsible was for catastrophes like the Strawberry Doughnut USB drive1, they deserve every credit not only for this awesome Lupus III drive but also for their excellent range of Star Wars USB Hubs.
Mr.Gadget 1GB USB 2.0 Executive Watch
Reading the name alone would be enough to make you freak out and fear the worst, but this watch actually looks acceptable. Not being a Casio watch it does not get an extra geek credit bonus, but the Mr. Gadget Executive USB watch has a decent look and even a Citizen alike chronograph. If only they could invent a Magsafe™ USB connector this could be perfect for any aspiring Bond among us.

Lego is an all-time favourite of geeks worldwide and best of all is that you can easily make your own model. The only limit is your own creativity and aptitude with Lego bricks.
C-3PO USB Drive
Mimobot, designer USB flash driver store par excellence, comes with this awesomely looking C-3PO, but also has many more great Star Wars, Happy Tree Friends and other drives. At $44/95 for a 4GB C-3PO this is a steal compared to the previous models we saw in this entry.

One of Yahoo’s top marketing execs, Eric Hadley, who came to the company with a lot of acclaim in only November, is set to leave for a new job working in branding and global marketing for Microsoft’s MSN online service, several sources said.
Hadley had previously worked at Microsoft (MSFT) as GM of global advertising solutions and marketing support at MSN, although he had come to Yahoo (YHOO) from a job at Heavy.com as its chief marketing officer.
At Yahoo, he was hired as its VP of U.S. field marketing. In a statement at the time of his hire, Yahoo’s marketing and customer care SVP, Nick Besbeas, said it was a “a newly created role responsible for marketing communications strategy and execution for advertisers, publishers, industry groups and other partners.”
It’s yet another sign of renewed executive unrest at Yahoo, which continues in the wake of the hiring of new CEO Carol Bartz. Yesterday, BoomTown reported that Zimbra founder Satish Dharmaraj was leaving Yahoo, which was confirmed by the company later in the day.
Hadley seemed excited by the new role at Yahoo only a few short months ago. In his statement then, he said: “I’ve always admired the Yahoo! brand, the spirit of innovation and results Yahoo! provides for advertisers. The new beta of Yahoo Messenger 9 can help user invite contacts on AOL, Google's Gmail and Orkut, Microsoft's Hotmail, MySpace, and other online services to connect through the Yahoo service. Version 9 also includes a special group of all people in your Yahoo address book, helping to connect with contacts users may have stored elsewhere within Yahoo itself.
Also tying more deeply into the rest of Yahoo, the new beta can be used to reflect some other activities within the network--for example, when somebody spotlights a Web site of interest using Yahoo Buzz.
"We'll add more types of updates in the future," said product manager Sarah Bacon in a blog posting about the new beta.
Yahoo Messenger 9 is intended for use on Windows XP, in contrast to the more obviously named Yahoo Messenger for Vista (download it for Windows Vista). The final version of the Yahoo Messenger 9 is due in the third quarter, Yahoo said. The Mac equivalent is scheduled to be released by the end of the year.
Also new in the beta is a better interface for setting status messages--even if you're away from your IM software, Yahoo said. And links to games present in Yahoo Messenger 8 has made its way to version 9, so users can play pool, checkers, and others. However, only those with version 8.1 or later can play games with those using the version 9 beta, Yahoo said.
Yahoo Messenger's icon, a frighteningly happy face, reflects the fact that people have a whole section of their brains just for processing facial information. Yahoo is tapping into that visual cortex a little more directly with the new beta, which uses larger emoticons.

Delta Air Lines Inc., one year removed from bankruptcy, agreed to buy Northwest Airlines Corp. in a $3.63 billion stock deal that would create the world's largest carrier and may unleash more industry consolidation.
The airline will keep Delta's name, Atlanta headquarters and chief executive officer, Richard Anderson, 52. The purchase will create a total of $1 billion in new revenue and savings and won't shut any hubs, the companies said today in a statement.
Delta, the third-biggest U.S. airline by traffic, is betting that combining with No. 5 Northwest will help blunt a 74 percent surge in jet fuel over 12 months. The move also is likely to hasten merger talks among rivals including United Airlines to counter the new Delta's wider network.
``The assumptions are fairly optimistic,'' said George Hamlin, managing director of New York-based consulting firm ACA Associates. ``Given high fuel prices and going into a recession, it makes you wonder how things will improve.''
Each Northwest share will be exchanged for 1.25 Delta shares, a 16.8 percent premium based on today's closing price, the airlines said. Northwest investors will get $13.10 per share, valuing the company at $3.63 billion. Northwest has 277 million shares outstanding as of today, Delta Chief Financial Officer Ed Bastian said. It had 236.4 million shares as of Jan. 31, according to Bloomberg data.
One-Time Costs
The deal will include one-time cash costs of $1 billion, the companies said. Northwest CEO Doug Steenland, 57, will sit on the new airline's board, and Bastian will keep his roles as Delta's president and CFO.
Shareholders for Delta and Eagan, Minnesota-based Northwest would have to approve the transaction, which also would need clearance from federal antitrust regulators. While Delta pilots would get a 3.5 percent equity stake in the airline and a board seat under a new contract, Northwest's pilots said they would ``aggressively oppose'' the tie-up.
The combined carrier would vault past AMR Corp.'s American Airlines as the world's largest by traffic, and would have 800 aircraft and 75,000 employees.
With a bigger Delta reshaping the competitive landscape for U.S. airlines, other carriers may renew their interest in finding a partner.
Continental Airlines Inc., No. 4 in the U.S. by traffic, has held talks with UAL Corp.'s United, the world's second- largest carrier, and has met with American, a person with knowledge of the matter said Feb. 15.
Pressure on Profits
The slowing U.S. economy, which is starting to damp travel demand, also is weighing on the industry.
The eight largest U.S. carriers may post a combined first- quarter loss of $1.4 billion, Merrill Lynch & Co. analyst Michael Linenberg wrote today in a note to clients, two days before AMR leads off the airlines' earnings reports.
Four small U.S. airlines filed for bankruptcy in the past month: Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc., Skybus Airlines Inc., Aloha Airgroup Inc. and ATA Airlines Inc.
A combined Delta-Northwest will control about 25 percent of the U.S. air-travel market, estimated Ray Neidl, an analyst at Calyon Securities in New York. Delta and Northwest and their regional partners carried 176 million people last year.
Delta's biggest contributions to the new carrier include trans-Atlantic routes to Europe and a network in Latin America, while Northwest has Pacific routes including access to the restricted Narita Airport in Tokyo.
Adding overseas flying was part of each airline's strategy to return to profit after bankruptcy.
`Bulked Up'
``With Delta and Northwest bulked up, they can compete globally,'' former Continental CEO Gordon Bethune said today in an interview. ``They will have enough of the market that if they say, we need another $5 per ticket, they can get it.''
Bethune was an adviser to hedge fund Pardus Capital Management LP, which backed a Delta-UAL tie-up last year.
Delta has U.S. hubs at Atlanta, New York's Kennedy airport, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City. Northwest's are in Minneapolis, Detroit, and Memphis, Tennessee. Northwest also operates hubs in Amsterdam and Tokyo.
The new Delta doesn't plan to further cut capacity as part of the tie-up, Anderson said today on a conference call with reporters. Delta said in March it will cut 2,000 jobs and lower capacity by 10 percent, double its previous goal, and Northwest said it would halt hiring and cut capacity by 5 percent.
Anderson's View
``No, there's not any contemplated,'' Anderson said of additional capacity cuts. ``Until we have antitrust approval, you can't really jointly plan.''
The announcement came after the close of regular stock market trading. Delta rose 47 cents, or 4.7 percent, to $10.48 at 4:15 p.m. in New York Stock Exchange composite trading, while Northwest added 26 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $11.22. The Bloomberg U.S. Airlines Index climbed 1.4 percent, with nine of 14 carriers gaining.
The deal caps five months of industry speculation about Delta's intentions after revealing on Nov. 14 that it created a board committee to study merger options.
For Delta's Anderson, the accord fulfills the prediction made 13 months ago by predecessor Gerald Grinstein that Delta would become ``an acquirer'' after spurning a hostile takeover bid from US Airways Group Inc. in bankruptcy. Delta and Northwest discussed a tie-up before leaving court protection in April and May of 2007, respectively.
Acquiring Northwest also puts Anderson back in charge of the airline where he was CEO from 2001 through 2004. His lieutenants at Northwest included Steenland.
Pilots' Stake
Talks on the transaction stalled in February after pilots couldn't agree on how to mesh union seniority lists at the airlines.
Delta and its 7,000 pilots broke the impasse in the past few days with a new labor agreement running through 2012 that includes the equity stake. Northwest's 5,000 pilots would be asked to join a unified contract before the deal closes.
``This agreement clearly disadvantages NWA pilots,'' Dave Stevens, chairman of the Northwest chapter of the Air Line Pilots Association, said in an e-mailed statement. Stevens said pilot leaders at Northwest ``will use all resources available to aggressively oppose this merger.''
Non-pilot employees of both companies in the U.S. will be given a 4 percent equity stake when the deal closes, the companies said, adding that they don't expect to make any involuntary layoffs.
In addition to the board seat going to the Delta pilots, the new airline will have seven directors from Delta and five from Northwest, the companies said.
Delta's financial advisers were Greenhill & Co. and Merrill Lynch & Co., and its legal advisers were Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Hunton & Williams.
Northwest's financial advisers were Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase & Co., and the carrier's legal advisers were Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and O'Melveny & Myers.
